Our Process
1. Viewing
We visit you at your property to see the house, take photos of the property and discuss the staging with you. This may be for either full property staging or partial property staging.
2. Home Staging Proposal
We put together a quote to ensure the property is presented at its absolute best. If you have budget restraints we can accommodate these in the home staging quote that we provide.
3. Furniture Hire
We select the best pieces of furniture from our range to create a customised, inviting space for your home. This includes a collection of furniture, linens, art and other carefully selected decor items. Everything that is needed to make it feel like a home.
4. Staging the property
After selected and packed all of your items we arrive at your property to install the staging. Our team then bring all of the elements together over our 4 to 6 hours needed for full staging installation.
5. Removal
At the end of the contract period we carefully remove all of the staging items.
Property Styling FAQ’s
How long does it take to style a home?
This typically takes our team of 4 between 4 - 6 hours at the property when we install the furniture. We then come back to remove the furniture which takes between 1 - 2 hours for a careful removal.
What difference does a 3D Tour make to property marketing?
A study in the UK found that 95% of buyers were more likely to call about a property if it had a 3D Tour. This way a real estate salesperson can either make it available with the marketing or let buyers know in the marketing that if they are interested they can contact them to receive the 3D Tour. This gives your salesperson more potential buyers to talk to, which helps get a better result.
Can I use my own furniture?
Unless a piece of furniture fits with our design plan it can take away from the impact that home staging can make. Generally speaking it always best to go with an overall home staging plan that encompasses the entire property for maximum impact.
How long do you leave the home staging in the property?
In order to keep your costs down our initial term is either 4 or 6 weeks, depending on your requirements. Most properties are either sold or under contract within this time frame in the current market. Don’t worry though, if your property still hasn’t sold by the end of the 4 week term we can extend the term for you at minimal cost.
What areas do you service?
We provide home staging services through all of Wellington City, Porirua City, Upper Hutt City and Lower Hutt City at our standard rates.
How is furniture moved into and out of my property?
We use a professional removal team with full insurance incase of any damage. They are always extremely careful when helping our clients to make their property shine.
